Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Via Roma Bed & Breakfast in L'Aquila, it became clear that this establishment successfully balances luxury with value, presenting an appealing option for travelers. First, a hearty thank you to Riccardo, our gracious host, who made even our late arrival seamless and welcoming. The well-maintained room and en suite were equipped with essential amenities, including a flat-screen TV and reliable Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable stay while I unwound from a day of exploring the region's stunning landscapes. The location, conveniently set in the heart of L'Aquila, allows easy access to local shops and various dining options after a day of hiking. One highlight was the traditional Italian breakfast-plentiful enough to fuel our early escapades. Although there was the occasional late-night noise from fellow guests, the overall ambiance remained peaceful. While additional services like laundry and housekeeping would have been appreciated for a longer stay, the reasonable pricing and proximity to local attractions and activities make Via Roma an ideal choice. It's a perfect base for adventurers keen on experiencing both the natural beauty and rich history of Italy. I can confidently say this will be my first choice for future visits.
